Jasper National Park Pass and Parking
Vehicles travelling into Jasper National Park require a Park Pass. Park Passes are sold at the Jasper and Banff Park Gates, as well as from Alberta Motor Association (AMA) locations at a reduced cost for AMA members. Information and rates for entry into Jasper National Park are available from Parks Canada.
Parking will be available on JPL grounds.
Accommodation & Checkout Time
To book your accommodation, please call the Jasper Park Lodge at 1-800-465-7547. Please arrange to check out by noon on Sunday. Inquire about the Fast Check-out System at the JPL Information Desk.

All rooms at Jasper Park Lodge are full, therefore the link to the JPL online booking is unavailable.
Add your name to the wait list by calling JPL at (780) 852-3301. With our new cancellation policy in place, some rooms will become available 45 days before the conference. Jasper Park Lodge staff will start calling people on the waiting list at that time.

Conference Brochure & Newsletter
Please bring the brochure with you! Only changes and updates will be provided at the conference. A daily newsletter, Info-To-Go, will be available at the Registration Desk each morning. Leave material for inclusion at the Registration Desk or contact the newsletter editor, Inez Kosinski, in advance at info2go@albertalibraryconference.com

Guest Fees
A guest fee is charged for each non-conference participant 18 or older. This fee allows the guest to take advantage of the conference rate for JPL rooms, attend functions such as the opening reception, author talks, coffee breaks, film night,
dance, and exhibits, but not to attend the sessions or the keynotes. Name tags must be worn by all delegates and guests.

Critical Dates
Early Bird Registrations must be received by March 10, 2008. No refunds will be given after April 12, 2008. Refunds are subject to a $40.00 processing fee.

Exhibits
The exhibit hall is in the Mary Schaeffer Ballroom. Exhibits are open:
Thursday
6:30 pm - 10:00 pm (cash bar)
Friday
9:30 am - 3:00 pm
Saturday
9:30 am -12:00 pm (noon)

Meals
All meals are included in the accommodation rate, not in the conference registration fee. If you are not staying at JPL, individual meal tickets can be purchased at the JPL Concierge Desk. Wine and cocktails are not included in the meal price and should be paid for directly or charged to your room.
The JPL conference rate is based on all hotel guests participating in the meal package. Hotel guests cannot opt out of the meal package. If you have dietary concerns (allergies etc.) please inform the Front Desk.
If you are not staying at JPL, individual meal tickets can be purchased at the JPL Concierge Desk.
Individual meal tickets cost: breakfast $20, lunch $23, dinner $49.

Tipping
Tips for meals are included in the accommodation rate. Tips for porter and room service are at the discretion of each conference delegate.

Evaluation Forms
An evaluation form is included in the Conference at a Glance. Please leave completed forms at the Registration Desk before leaving the conference–you can also submit the evaluation form online. Individual session evaluations will be collected at the end of each conference session.
