CONFERENCE SUBSIDY FOR ALTA MEMBER BOARDS IN SMALLER COMMUNITIES

Library Boards that are ALTA members and serve communities of 10,000 or less, are eligible for a subsidy to enable them to send a trustee to the ALC in Jasper. Each eligible board can apply for reimbursement of one early bird registration and travel expenses of ten cents per kilometre. Last year, ALTA returned $10,000 to member boards that applied for this grant, so if you are eligible, be sure that your library board gets 'counted in'!

Deadline for applications is May 31/03.
