Conference Exhibitors - Comments?

Call for Session Proposals, ALC 2002:
The Alberta Library Conference 2002 Planning Committee invites proposals for
sessions to be held at next year's conference in Jasper, Alberta (April 25-28,
2002). The theme for next year's conference is:

BACK TO THE FUTURE @ YOUR LIBRARY.

The idea behind the theme is to maintain the core values of customer
service, reading, lifelong learning, and so on, while capitalizing on technology
as we move libraries into the future.

Sessions can be of general interest to the library community in Alberta or
directed towards the membership of the co-sponsoring organizations: the
Alberta Library Trustees Association or the Library Association of Alberta.

Please email session proposals by August 20th to either of the conference
co-chairs below:

Yvonne Slemko, ALTA co-chair yslemko@ccinet.ab.ca
Pilar Martinez, LAA co-chair pmartinez@publib.edmonton.ab.ca

Please include with your proposal: proposed topic, session title (if known),
target audience and expected remuneration.

Public and regional library directors are asked to forward this invitation
to their respective trustees.
